Caribbean nations have pledged to assist Nigeria in boosting food security by sharing agricultural expertise. Dr. Levi Odoe, Consular General of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, highlighted the importance of expanding Nigeria-Caribbean relations beyond oil and gas, emphasizing agriculture’s role in addressing global food concerns. He urged Nigeria to revive subsistence farming and enhance exports to the Caribbean.
